Dances

We host social swing dances the 2nd Saturday of each month (occasionally they are on other Saturdays, so make sure you check the dates!).  There is a free 30-minute intro to swing dance lesson at 7:30pm, and the dance begins at 8:00pm and goes until 10:30pm.  No partner necessary for the lesson or the dance.  All are welcome!

PLEASE NOTE THIS IS THE 3rd SATURDAY OF JUNE - instead of our regular 2nd Saturday dance.

Former member of Bella and the Notables has put together a new jazz band.  They are excited to play for swing dancers, and its always a great time on the dance floor when they are here!

Admission is $20 (sliding scale $20-10).

7:30-8:00pm Intro to Swing Dance
8:00-10:30pm Live Band Dance

No Partner Needed.  We love to dance with each other!

Please bring a change of clean, non-marking shoes for dancing on our beautiful wooden floor (socks are okay too).

We prefer you park on North Street or other side streets and leave Crowley St available for residents; don't block driveways.  The is no parking allowed behind the Hall on dance nights - reserved for band and staff.

Saturday Swing Dance!

We host a Saturday Night Swing Dance on most 2nd  Saturdays of every month. Join us for a free, beginner-level mini-lesson from 7:30 - 8:00pm, followed by dancing from 8:00 - 10:30 pm. The Vermont Swings All-Star DJs will keep you moving to great music from jazz, big band and contemporary eras.


Practice Session

Vermont Swings hosts a weekly Practice Session every Tuesday from 7:30pm-9:00pm at the Champlain Club. Our Practice Session is your weekly opportunity for social dancing and practice in a friendly, casual environment.
